The Idea

POV you're addicted to clothes but you couldn't find a perfectly-fitting slogan top created with high-quality material that wasn't $200 so you designed your own.

If you're like me, you are totally obsessed with slogan crop tops, but you're missing that go-to brand that exclusively designs my heart's precious beloved can't-live-without them favorite tops. Because if it existed, I'd give them all my money. So many slogan tops out there are cringe, gross, degrading, etc. Also, they're made with poor material, the fit is unpredictable, and they take 4 weeks to ship. Why is that!?

The Vision: Part One
Part One: the slogans. Sayings you'd actually wear, NOT just in some parking lot or 3am warehouse or Hyde Sunset, but also at the gym to class or work to dinner (and also) the club. An original line of fun slogans for confident girls. Think: Fun. Positive. Cool. Sexy. Casual. Playful. But never insulting themselves or the person reading the shirt. Simultaneously, slogans can NEVER be too serious. We will never have print something like "Be Kind" on a crop top. Oh no.

Our first available slogan is Mentally Stable. While you guys love this one, I actually have 100+ slogans prepped and ready to go. I literally write down new slogans every day. The reason we don't have more slogans right now is because my manufacturer has a MOQ (minimum order quantity), which requires me to buy x amount of each slogan/style/color/SKU, paying for all the inventory up front.

Want Me is 100% self-funded, with money I saved up from past jobs. There is 0 outside investment, not even from friends or family. In fact, when I started the brand in August 2024, my bank account had less than $3000 (due to an extreme circumstance that I might share in the future lol).

The Vision: Part Two

Part Two: intense determination to create the perfect fit. Typically, graphic tanks and tees, especially ones sold under $100, are printed on blanks, which use mass-produced measurements. Though it's far more costly, it's imperative to me that Want Me tops are produced by an OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) who creates each piece exactly according to my design specifications: fabric weight, letter spacing, logo font size, chest width, every single detail.

Every measurement, from neckline drop to how close the straps are... was meticulously perfected and tested over the course of months, until we achieved the perfectly-fitting baby cami of my dreams: the Perfect Baby Cami—our first and only drop. Featuring an effortless crop that makes your boobs look big, your waist look tiny, and arms look skinny as possible. In a babysoft cotton fabric so smooth you could fall asleep in it. That's not too much to ask for, right!?
